Our winery...

The VinPro Winery was established in 2004 and produced it's first vintages in 2005 under the leadership of Carol Bunn. It was the largest Pinot Noir facility in Central Otago at that time and has a total processing capacity of 1,000 tonnes and around 85% of that is for Pinot Noir.
One of the benefits of using a contract winery the size of VinPro's is that we provide a 'Continuity of Excellence' for our clients. We are large enough to employ more than one winemaker to ensure the knowledge isn't all in one head if a winemaker moves on, yet small enough that we can adapt quickly and easily to the various client requirements to ensure each client's wine is unique.
Our winery staff work as a team with a focus on supporting our clients to grow their brand by expanding on past successes. This provides that 'Continuity of Excellence' which ensures knowledge about the unique terroir for each vineyard, their grapes and the winemaking history is shared. Consequently there is a continued and consistent quality between vintages as much as possible given the complexities and nature of making excellent wine. |
